What You’ll Do
Maintain NMC registration and professional standards
Build strong relationships and communication with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families
Act as a patient advocate to ensure the best outcomes and experiences
Stay up to date with current nursing and healthcare developments
Participate in Preceptorship and Clinical Supervision programmes
Lead the pre-assessment and planning of ophthalmic injection patients across settings
Safely manage and deliver Intravitreal Injections
Work in line with national, Trust, and local policies and standards
Ensure proper use and operation of medical equipment
Clinical Responsibilities
Deliver direct care including eye medication administration
Provide pre- and post-operative ophthalmic care
Safely position patients and support diagnostic procedures
Contribute to the assessment, planning, and evaluation of care delivery
