A family based in Sidcup, DA15, is looking for an Arabic or Estonian speaking nanny to care for their 16-month-old daughter. This is a permanent part-time position. The family is looking for someone reliable, caring and experienced with toddlers.

Please note: applicants must speak Arabic or Estonian. Please do not apply if you do not speak Estonian or Arabic

Children

One girl aged 16 months.
She enjoys music, dancing and age-appropriate activities.

Working Hours

3 days per week.
The family is flexible on the days.
9:00am to 5:00pm.
24 hours per week.
The family lives around 10 minutes from Sidcup station.

Salary

£19 – £22 gross per hour.
Approximately £456 – £528 gross per week.
Depending on experience.

Start Date

Mid-August 2026.

Role Overview

The nanny will be responsible for the daily care of the little girl, supporting her routine, development and wellbeing. The family is looking for someone who can speak Estonian with the child and support her language development naturally.

Main Responsibilities

Nanny Duties

Provide safe and attentive care.
Follow the child’s daily routine.
Prepare and serve meals and snacks for the child.
Support naps and quiet time.
Plan age-appropriate activities.
Encourage music, dancing and creative play.
Take the child to local parks, classes and outings.
Support early development and language skills.
Speak Arabic or Estonian with the child.
Encourage good manners and independence.
Keep the parents updated on the child’s day.

Child-related Housekeeping

Keep the child’s areas tidy.
Clean up after meals and activities.
Wash and organise the child’s clothes when needed.
Keep toys, books and play areas organised.
Prepare the child’s bag for outings.
No deep cleaning.

Requirements

Must speak Arabic or Estonian.

Previous experience with toddlers.
Kind, reliable and proactive.
Confident with toddler routines.
Able to plan engaging activities.
Must have the right to work in the UK.
DBS check and Paediatric First Aid preferred.
