Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Part 1 Architectural Assistant or Person seeking a Level 6 Architectural Assistant Apprenticeship to join our practice. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a professional environment, contributing to innovative architectural projects. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation of design concepts, technical drawings, and project documentation, supporting senior architects throughout the project lifecycle.
A successful individual will preferably have experience using AutoCAD and/or ArchiCAD, and will be expected to carry out the following tasks and roles:
Responsibilities
- Feasibility studies (CAD drawings);
- Planning drawings and planning documents (AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Microsoft office, Photoshop);
- Internal design drawings;
- Technical drawings and specifications;
- Planning policy research relevant to individual projects;
- Technical and product research relevant to individual projects;
- Site measurement and existing building survey drawings and analysis;
- General administration and project management.
Qualifications
- A recognised qualification in architecture or a related field (Part 1 qualification).
- Basic understanding of construction processes and materials.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A keen interest in sustainable design and innovative architectural solutions.
This role provides valuable hands-on experience within a professional setting, fostering growth in technical skills and industry knowledge.
Pay: £21,200.00-£25,400.00 per year
