Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Graduate Kitchen & Interior Design Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to develop their skills in kitchen and interior design, working closely with clients to create bespoke spaces. The successful candidate will utilise their knowledge of design software and communication skills to deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions. This paid position is ideal for individuals passionate about interior aesthetics and eager to grow within the industry.

Duties

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences and requirements for kitchens and interiors
  • Prepare detailed design proposals using software such as SketchUp and CAD, ensuring accuracy and visual appeal
  • Assist in creating colour schemes, layouts, and material selections that align with client visions
  • Present design concepts clearly, explaining features and benefits to clients in a professional manner
  • Support upselling of products and services by highlighting additional options that enhance client satisfaction
  • Organise project timelines, coordinate with suppliers, and manage merchandising displays to optimise presentation
  • Maintain organised records of client interactions, designs, and project progress
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients in both English and Spanish (if applicable) to ensure seamless project delivery

Requirements

  • Recent graduate with a background in interior design, architecture, or related fields
  • Proficiency in SketchUp, CAD, and other relevant design software
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities such as Spanish are highly desirable
  • Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and budgeting purposes
  • Experience or interest in merchandising and upselling techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment and independently when required
  • Organised with keen attention to detail to ensure high-quality outputs
