Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Construction Equipment
Territory: West Midlands, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 basic, plus generous commission scheme
Hours: Full-Time

About the Role:

Pioneer Plant is the Authorised Develon dealer for the West Midlands, Central East Midlands and East Anglia. We're looking for an experienced Salesperson to take on the West Midlands territory, covering Staffordshire, Shropshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire.

This is a territory with real potential and an established customer base, and we're looking for the right person to develop it. You'll be selling one of the strongest heavy equipment brands on the market, with the backing of a growing dealership and a team that supports its people properly.

It's a role that suits someone who knows the construction equipment industry well, enjoys the autonomy of managing their own patch and wants to be rewarded properly for what they bring in.

What You'll Be Doing:

· Managing and developing the West Midlands territory

· Building and maintaining strong relationships with contractors, hirers and end users across the region

· Identifying new business opportunities and converting them

· Delivering against volume, profit and overall sales targets

· Working closely with our sales office, service and parts teams to give customers a complete, joined-up experience

· Representing Develon and Pioneer Plant professionally at every point of contact

What We're Looking For:

· Experience and knowledge of the construction equipment industry

· Knowledge of the territory and the customer base within it

· A proven track record of achieving sales targets

· Strong customer relationship skills and a straightforward, professional approach

· A self-motivated attitude - this role rewards people who make their own opportunities

· Full UK driving licence

Proven sales ability and territory knowledge would be advantageous. Full support will be provided, including comprehensive product and systems training.

What We Offer:

· Basic salary of £45,000 - £50,000, dependent on experience

· Generous commission scheme based on profit, volume and overall target achievement

· Fully expensed company vehicle (subject to HMRC tax regulations)

· Company pension scheme

· 22 days' holiday, plus bank holidays and a Christmas shutdown

· Full product and systems training

· The backing of a growing, well-respected dealership with a strong manufacturer behind it
