We are looking for a Middleweight Designer with proven Animation experience to work on a range of campaign ideas for leading consumer brands. You will be part of a collaborative team working with Designers, Animators, Artworkers and Account Directors. The role requires conceptual thinking, headline copy and graphic design across all media channels with an emphasis on social media. The role is full-time, permanent, office based in Bedford, with salary up to £35k depending on experience.

What you'll be doing...

• Design and produce creative output as required for customer facing and internal business activities, to deliver the brief, customer experience requirements and brand core values.
• Present creative concepts to internal, external clients and stakeholders as required, explaining rationale and influencing changes to thinking where required to deliver the most effective solutions.
• Collaborate effectively with other design team members and senior creatives, contributing positively to the creative process and project outcomes
• Apply expert knowledge of motion graphics and editing techniques, including industry best practices and the integration of AI tools
• Interpret and execute complex briefs, managing multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
• Maintain strong attention to detail throughout the production process, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment in all visual outputs
• Engage with 3rd party suppliers to ensure involvement on any projects which might affect creative output, liaising with them as appropriate on requirements for delivery.

What experience we're looking for...

• 3 years Studio/Agency experience
• Motion Animation
• Proven experience of motion graphics design (animation, compositing, effects etc After Effects CC)
• Experience of 3D (animation, modelling, lighting etc, Blender, Cinema 4D, 3D Studio max) would be an advantage but not essential
• Ability to create storyboards that effectively describe solutions to briefs
• Understanding of different video formats and production techniques
• Video editing experience
• Ability to execute from concept through to final artwork.
• Understanding of social media platforms and emerging trends would be an advantage but not essential

General

• Proven experience of Adobe Creative Suite (and other creative/production) e.g.: Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premier Pro, etc
• Comfortable working on a variety of creative and production briefs.
• Comfortable presenting work, challenging and influencing peers, customers and stakeholders.
• Understanding of brand strategy, visual and verbal identity development.
• Knowledge across the disciplines sufficient to lead the creative fulfilment of assigned projects
