Location: Skipton, North Yorkshire
A wonderful opportunity has arisen to join the North Yorkshire Culture and Archives team at Skipton Town Hall, supporting the technical aspects of the building’s performances and events.
Skipton Town Hall
Historic Skipton Town Hall is the home of Craven Museum and Exhibition Gallery, the grand Concert Hall and the district’s Visitor Information Centre. Located in the heart of Skipton, our mission is to offer the opportunity for all of our visitors to engage with a range of cultural activities that inspire, inform and entertain.
The Role
As a technician you will:
- Operate as part of the stage management team
- Setup and operate lighting, sound and AV
- Provide technical support for performances, events, screenings and other private hire engagements.
You will report to our Senior Cultural Venues Technician and work closely with our visitor/front of house team. Full training will be provided.
Skills and Experience
You must be able to work flexible and unsocial hours, including evenings and weekends. If you are interested in joining a close knit, friendly and supportive team within a stimulating and varied environment, we want to hear from you.
