The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Class 1 LGV driver to join our friendly team based at our Yorkshire Depot in Hull. Starting as soon as possible, this is a full-time, permanent role with 40 hours per week basic contract position, working Monday to Friday and reporting to the Senior Operations Manager. There are also plenty of opportunities/ requirement for regular overtime including weekends. We have a variety of jobs that are require to work away where you will be paid a competitive rate of pay and expenses. This is a vast and varied role. You will be a key member of the team, driving and operating one of our HGV Vacuum vehicles. This is a physical role, involving driving, manual handling, etc. No two days are ever the same!
About You
To apply for the role of LGV Driver you must be an experienced driver with an HGV Class 1 driving licence valid for the UK. You will also need an in-date Driver CPC and digital tacho card. An ADR licence and Safety Passport qualification (CCNSG) is desirable for this role but not essential as training will be given.
Due to the nature of our business, we have an extremely high focus on health, safety and the environment and you must be the sort of person who will embrace this culture. As a driver for Future Industrial Services, you are the face of the company, therefore you must be able to work using you own initiative, have good communication skills and be presentable. As the work is so vast and varied you will also require a flexible approach to working hours within the legal WTD and Drivers Hours limits. We are looking for a team player who likes a challenge, is hard-working and not afraid of physical work.
Benefits:
Starting rate £14.82 per hour – time and half paid after eight hours and Saturdays and double time for Sundays. LGV Drivers average annual salary between £30,828 - £48,000 per annum.
