Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant to support our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, possess strong customer skills. The role involves assisting with daily activities, supporting children's learning experiences, serving drinks and maintaining effective communication with parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and checking families into our booking system
• Supervising [lay areas and ensuring a safe, engaging experience for all visitors
• Helping to maintain the mini village, keeping it clean, tidy and ready to play
• Create a positive, community focused atmosphere where imagination thrives
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to foster a learning environment
• Support the management team in maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the mini village setting
• Support our refreshment area, serving hot & cold drinks, maintaining good hygiene standards.
• Contribute to creating an inclusive environment that respects diversity and individual needs

Experience

• Previous experience working with children is ideal and preferred
• Previous experience in a customer facing environment.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• All successful will be first aid trained and DBS checked, please note a full and clear DBS is essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £13,650.00 per year

Expected hours: 21 per week
