Full job description

Warwick Street Kitchen is an independently owned group of award winning cafes. We are looking for an enthusiastic assistant manager for our Warwick, bakery, location to help us grow our new business. We will also have other management opportunities at other sites in the future so would love to meet hospitality professionals looking to join our growing company.

We serve speciality coffee and homemade, locally sourced, quality food. We take what we do very seriously and would expect the new team member to share our passion for product and customer service. Experience with speciality coffee is preferred but, if not, an insatiable love of coffee is a close second. The job will include:

  • Day to day running of the shop
  • Stock and wastage control
  • Team leading and morale building
  • The making of speciality drinks to a high standard
  • Incredible customer service standards
  • Reporting directly to the owner weekly
  • Maintain clear communication and teamwork between FOH & BOH
  • Train new members of staff
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers
  • Drive sales and identify new sales opportunities
  • Represent the brand at all times
  • Understanding of the companies financials
  • People management & team leading
  • HR & development meetings with staff
  • Knowledge of speciality coffee

As the business grows, Warwick Street Kitchen is looking for individuals who want to learn and grow with the company. This role has great spectrum for development within and the role will expand over time in response to performance and sales. We are ultimately looking for someone who has experience in hospitality, experience with and knowledge of coffee is a must, and loves the industry. We believe that the customer is at the heart of what we do so a fundamental enjoyment of customer service is essential.
