Full job description

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team in our bar on Portishead Marina.

Sidney & Eden Portishead is a Craft Beer, Coffee & Cocktail bar with a fantastic quality drink selection, our second venue after our one on Gloucester Road in Bristol we have a concept and style that has worked well there for the past 5+ years, getting great reviews making us the highest rated craft beer bar and cocktail bar in Bristol and we're excited to continue that success in Portishead.

Requirements for candidates:

Good Administrative skills including stock take, Rotas etc.

Experience with running EPOS, we're always changing our beers etc so its an ongoing task

Confident with staff management and delegating jobs including cleanliness and hygiene.

Cellar management, changing kegs, fixing issues, line cleans etc

Supervising our bar and customer / staff safety

Working with the owners and GM to implement ideas and to keep up standards

Craft Beer & Cocktail knowledge or experience in hospitality and a willingness to learn

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring adherence to food safety and quality standards.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and hospitality throughout the establishment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00 per year
