Job Overview

We are recruiting for part time front of house team member, ideally front of house hospitality experience with flexibility for shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude
  • Ensure timely service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the Front of house area
  • Handle guest inquiries and provide accurate information about menu items
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
  • Taking orders, making drinks, and serving the custsomers requirements
  • Barista/Basic Coffee trained
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • A team player
  • Cover events, Holidays and sickness when needed

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Previous restaurant experience is essential
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory
  • Knowledge of food safety practices
  • Excellent guest service skills to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Familiarity with food preparation and kitchen operations is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
  • Must be over 18 years due to the nature of the job role

Shift

  • WEEKDAY EVENING: Hours: 5pm to 10 pm. Monday and Tuesday evening
  • WEEKENDS: Saturday 8am to 2pm
  • WEEKDAY DAY: Hours: 8am/9am to 2pm Tuesday and Wednesday morning
  • EVENTS/COVER: ad-hoc cover for shifts when required or special events.

Salary (Self Employed preferred/PAYE)

In line with the current government minimum wage.

Over 21 years £12.21 per hour

18 - 20 years £10 per hour.
