Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a keen interest in providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, maintaining a clean and organised bar area, and ensuring that customers have an enjoyable experience.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes or customer preferences.
  • Maintain an extensive knowledge of drink menus, ingredients, and preparation techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Manage the bar area, including cleaning, restocking supplies, and maintaining equipment.
  • Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages.
  • Assist in training new staff members as required.

Skills

  • Strong background in hospitality with excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient in basic maths for handling cash transactions and drink measurements.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while managing time effectively.
  • Familiarity with bartending techniques and drink recipes is preferred.
  • A positive attitude with the ability to help create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
