Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a welcoming demeanour, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences. Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel comfortable throughout their visit
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and communicated effectively to the kitchen team
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and hygiene
  • Handle payments accurately using the point-of-sale system and provide correct change or receipts
  • Maintain cleanliness of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
  • Assist with setting up tables, organising reservations, and managing guest flow during busy periods
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items and daily specials to enhance guest experience
  • Adhere to food safety standards and health regulations at all times

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
  • Strong understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts
  • Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately
  • Ability to serve efficiently while maintaining professionalism under pressure
  • A personable attitude with the ability to work well within a team and independently when required
  • Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and evenings as needed
