About The Role

Do you have a compassionate approach to working with people? Are you committed to understanding people’s needs and using evidence-based practice to help people to flourish? We are looking for a Positive Behaviour Support Senior to join us to support the delivery of high quality, person-centred support to improve the quality of life of adults with learning disabilities. You will be a key part of the multi-disciplinary team within services and will also be part of our Therapeutic Services team, comprising of Applied Psychology, Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy.
This role is based out of our Low Laithes site. Travel to our other sites is likely to be required in this role.
This is a Part-Time Role.
The salary for Part time is £23,499.

About You

We are looking to recruit people who have:

  • Enthusiasm for engaging autistic individuals and people with intellectual disabilities in planning their own futures
  • Experience in working with autistic individuals and people with intellectual disabilities
  • Experience in collaborative approaches to working with behaviours of concern and reducing restrictive practices
  • MSc in PBS/ABA or equivalent, with an in-depth understanding of the principles and application of PBS
  • Experience of carrying out behavioural and skills assessment and interventions, and in implementing PBS in MDT settings
  • Experience in coaching, training and supporting staff
