Full job description
Please note this role is a 12 month fixed term contract
As a Resolution Coordinator, you will be the key point of contact for customers after they move into their new home. Your role is to ensure that any queries or defects raised during the defects liability period are managed promptly and professionally. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external contractors to deliver high-quality service, maintain compliance, and keep customers informed throughout the process. This is a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting Peabody’s commitment to excellence.
What you’ll do
In this role, you’ll take ownership of managing defects across new build properties within your area of responsibility. You’ll liaise with contractors, developers, and internal teams to ensure issues are resolved quickly and effectively, while keeping residents updated. You’ll use your technical knowledge and organisational skills to monitor performance, agree solutions, and maintain accurate records. You’ll also support the Customer Care team during handovers and carry out end-of-defects inspections, ensuring every project meets agreed standards and timelines. You will be required to attend the office a minimum of 2 days per week for collaborative working and meetings. This role also requires a Basic DBS check.
What you’ll need
- Experience in defects resolution, aftercare, or repairs within social housing or private sector.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good understanding of construction processes and project management principles.
- Ability to use data and systems effectively, with strong organisational skills to meet deadlines.
- A customer-focused approach, confident in managing expectations and delivering excellent service.
Why Join Us?
When you join Peabody, you’re joining a team guided by our values, Be Kind, Do the Right Thing, Love New Ideas, Celebrate Diversity, Keep Our Promises, and Pull Together. We believe in creating a workplace where everyone feels supported, included, and empowered.
What We Offer
- 30 days’ annual holiday, plus bank holidays
- two additional paid volunteering days each year
- flexible benefits scheme, including family friendly benefits and access to a discount portal
- 4 x salary life assurance
- up to 10% pension contribution
