Due to the nature of work that Sonic Healthcare UK undertakes, our clients require that Employees filling certain roles, need, as part of their on-boarding to complete a DBS Check. This role falls in to the category of requiring a DBS check (standard)
About the role:
A vacancy has arisen for a 12-month fixed term/ secondment Biomedical scientist to join the multidisciplinary team at Ross Hall hospital, Glasgow.
We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and well-motivated BMS with appropriate qualifications to join the team.
You will be an HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist and have experience within a Blood Sciences laboratory.
Applicants with experience in the core disciplines of Haematology, Chemistry or Blood Transfusion will be considered, appropriate training in all relevant disciplines will be provided.
We operate the following shift pattern:
Earlies 07.30-15.30 Mon-Fri
Lates 10.30-18.30 Mon-Fri (on-call from 18.30-07.30)
Weekend working on rotation is a requirement of the post.
Participation in the out of hours on call rota will be required for which there is additional payments.
