Full job description

Hop Union Brewery is looking for a passionate and driven Regional Field Sales Manager to help grow all aspects of sales within the business, both locally and nationally.

We are a small, family-run independent brewery based in Bristol, producing a wide range of cask, keg and canned beers.

The successful applicant will develop sales across the on-trade, wholesale, independent retail, events and other relevant channels. We are looking for someone with drive, energy and tenacity who can build strong customer relationships, develop new business and represent the Hop Union brand with enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

  • Visiting new and existing customers.
  • Developing sales across all relevant channels.
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Identifying and opening new accounts.
  • Promoting our core range, seasonal beers and new products.
  • Following up leads, samples, quotations and enquiries.
  • Working with wholesalers, retailers, pubs, bars and hospitality businesses.
  • Supporting tastings, festivals, trade events and promotions.
  • Maintaining accurate customer and sales records.
  • Monitoring competitor activity and market trends.
  • Working towards agreed sales, profit and new-business targets.
  • Working closely with the telesales, marketing and brewery teams.

About you

We are looking for someone with:

  • Previous sales, account management or business development experience.
  • A passion for independent beer and the brewing industry.
  • Knowledge of cask, keg and canned beer.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The confidence to approach new customers and generate business.
  • Good organisation and commercial awareness.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A full UK driving licence.

Previous experience within brewing, drinks or hospitality would be strongly preferred.

The role will involve regular travel and may require occasional evening or weekend work for customer visits, tastings and events.
