Job Summary
only from bolton area local driver or near bolton ,We are seeking a professional and reliable Coach Driver to operate passenger vehicles safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and a strong commitment to passenger safety. This role involves transporting passengers, ensuring a comfortable and secure journey for all travellers. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the vehicle's condition and adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.

Duties

  • Safely operate coaches, adhering to traffic laws.
  • Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing excellent customer service.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, tyre pressure, and reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents during shifts.
  • Communicate effectively with passengers, colleagues, and dispatchers using clear English.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure passenger safety at all times.
  • Respond appropriately to emergency situations or unforeseen circumstances during transit.

Requirements

  • Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with category D , CPC card and digital tachograph card a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience in commercial driving
  • Mechanical knowledge relevant to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Strong driving skills with experience operating buses or similar large vehicles.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and route planning.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, or weekends if required.
  • Previous experience in passenger transport or related roles is advantageous but not essential. This position offers an opportunity to work within a professional environment dedicated to safety and service excellence.

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
