only from bolton area local driver or near bolton ,We are seeking a professional and reliable Coach Driver to operate passenger vehicles safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and a strong commitment to passenger safety. This role involves transporting passengers, ensuring a comfortable and secure journey for all travellers. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the vehicle's condition and adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
Duties
- Safely operate coaches, adhering to traffic laws.
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing excellent customer service.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, tyre pressure, and reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents during shifts.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, colleagues, and dispatchers using clear English.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure passenger safety at all times.
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations or unforeseen circumstances during transit.
Requirements
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with category D , CPC card and digital tachograph card a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong driving skills with experience operating buses or similar large vehicles.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and route planning.
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, or weekends if required.
- Previous experience in passenger transport or related roles is advantageous but not essential. This position offers an opportunity to work within a professional environment dedicated to safety and service excellence.
