£35,000 basic + uncapped bonus | OTE £50,000 | Company car

Mayfair Worktops is one of the UK’s leading producers of granite and quartz worktops. We’re a fast-growing, family-run business with over 50 years in the stone industry, and we’re looking for a driven Business Development Executive to help us grow our trade customer base even further.

The role

This is a hybrid business development role. Your time will be split between:

  • working from the office
  • being out in the field visiting clients
  • building and developing relationships face-to-face

For the first 3 months, you will be based full-time in the office for training and onboarding so you can properly learn our products, systems, customers and way of working. After this, the role will move into a hybrid pattern combining office-based work with regular client visits.

This is a hands-on business development role where you will be expected to build relationships, open doors, win business and grow accounts.

You’ll be dealing with kitchen retailers, house builders, interior designers and architects, building a strong pipeline and turning opportunities into long-term customers.

What you’ll be doing

  • Winning new business and developing existing accounts
  • Building strong relationships with kitchen retailers, house builders, interior designers and architects
  • Visiting trade customers and keeping a strong presence in the market
  • Managing your pipeline and following up opportunities properly
  • Delivering excellent service to turn customers into repeat clients
  • Working towards sales targets and helping drive growth
