Full job description

About Us
We are a growing recruitment agency committed to connecting exceptional talent with outstanding opportunities. As part of our next phase of growth, we're looking for ambitious, driven individuals to join our small team as commission-based Business Development Consultants.

Whether you're experienced in recruitment or come from a strong sales or business development background, this role offers full autonomy, flexibility, and high earning potential.

The Role

As a Business Development Consultant within the Education & Childcare sector, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and targeting potential clients to generate new business opportunities
  • Proactively calling and engaging with owners, managers, and decision-makers
  • Building and maintaining a pipeline of qualified leads
  • Developing strong relationships to encourage ongoing engagement
  • Passing high-quality leads to the Business Manager for follow-up and closure
  • Pitching the agency’s recruitment services, highlighting the value and benefits
  • Staying up-to-date with sector trends, funding changes, and staffing challenges to identify new opportunities

This role is 100% commission-based. You will earn £300–£500 per successful candidate placement. This payment is made once a lead you have submitted converts into a confirmed placement with the client. The more placements generated, the more you earn.

What We Offer

  • Total flexibility: work full-time or part-time (minimum 4–5 hours a day)
  • Full autonomy: build and manage your own desk
  • Back-office support
  • A collaborative, non-corporate environment with room to grow, leading to a basic salary role and progression to management

Career Progression & Incentives

  • Fixed salary option upon consistently hitting performance targets
  • Shareholder incentive scheme for top performers — earn equity as the business grows
  • Opportunities to progress into Team Lead or Manager positions
  • Influence over future strategy and the direction of your niche or division

About You

  • Proven experience in recruitment, sales, or business development
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and entrepreneurial
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
  • Comfortable working remotely and managing your own schedule
  • Sector experience (education, healthcare, finance, construction, etc.) is a plus

Ready to Join Us?

This is an excellent opportunity if you’re looking for flexibility, high earning potential, and the chance to build your own business under a supportive brand.

To apply, please send your CV along with a short cover message explaining why this opportunity is right for you.
