Enterprise & Cafe Coordinator

Location: Bicton
Salary: £24,838.84 FTE, (Actual pro-rata salary for 25 hours £12,264.50 per annum plus £1,792.50 holiday payment, total pro-rata salary £14,057.00 per annum, £14.80 per hour)

Terms & Conditions: Term Time (25 hours/38 weeks), Support Contract
Closing Date: 12 July 2026

About the Role

Based at Bicton College, we are looking for an experienced individual responsible for the daily running of the site’s Foundation Learning enterprise space, the E3 Café. S/he will be responsible for the daily running of the café and work with tutors, support staff, learner groups and individual learners to ensure that the area runs efficiently.

One of the key responsibilities of the role is to ensure a real-life learning experience for every learner, with activity encompassing the 21 competencies identified as required for our learners to be ‘work ready’

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and learning, with a positive approach to supporting learners within the Further Education sector. They will have experience in the hospitality or catering industry and working with learners with SEN, alongside the ability to coach and develop young people. Strong teamwork, organisational, and record-keeping skills are essential, as is an understanding of small business operations and employability skills. Candidates must hold, or be working towards, a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and a teaching qualification. A flexible, adaptable approach, the ability to work independently, and a willingness to embrace change are highly desirable.
