Join our vibrant team as a Cafe Bar & Functions General Assistant, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create memorable experiences for our guests! In this dynamic role serving customers , you will support the smooth operation of our new cafe bar ( EDEN & BLOOM) , ensuring excellent service, cleanliness, and a welcoming atmosphere. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our hospitality environment, making every guest feel valued and cared for. Variation of shifts are available including Midweek afternoons into evenings from around 2 -3 pm , Weekends from 10am and some evenings.

Duties

• Assist with daily cafe operations, including opening up bar , setting up tables, serving food and beverages including our range of classic cocktails , operating 2 group Coffee machine , our clearing and cleaning tables efficiently and Taking Card Payments
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across all areas of the cafe, bar and function spaces
• Restock supplies such as utensils, condiments, and beverages to ensure smooth service flow
• Greet guests warmly, answer their questions about menu options or event details, and provide exceptional customer service
• Take orders, Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of food and drinks during busy periods
• Support opening and closing procedures, including cleaning tasks and equipment checks

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is advantageous but not essential; a positive attitude is key!
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends as needed
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and presentation
• Basic knowledge of health and safety standards in food service environments
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as required.

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
