Job Summary

AttoLife is looking for reliable and compassionate Sample Collectors to join our growing team, based in North & South London. This is a rewarding and flexible self-employed role, ideal for individuals with a background in healthcare, social work, or law enforcement — or anyone who thrives on helping people during important, and sometimes sensitive, moments in their lives.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for collecting a range of biological samples from clients at their home addresses or solicitors’ offices, including:

  • Hair
  • Nail
  • Blood (phlebotomy experience/certificate highly desirable)

You’ll play a vital role in helping deliver trusted, accurate results that matter. Whether it's for legal proceedings, health assessments, or peace of mind, your professionalism and care will make a meaningful difference.

What You’ll Do

  • Visit clients to collect DNA, drug, and alcohol samples, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Carry out risk assessments before appointments to protect your safety and the client’s wellbeing
  • Communicate clearly and calmly, helping clients feel comfortable throughout the process
  • Maintain all required certifications (Enhanced DBS, Phlebotomy, Public Liability Insurance)
  • Submit detailed notes and statements as required, keeping the case team updated
  • Manage your calendar and availability weekly
  • Attend virtual training and team meetings as required
  • Adhere to AttoLife’s protocols and hygiene procedures at all times

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Full, clean driving licence and access to a well-maintained car
  • Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Tech-savvy enough to update scheduling and case management systems
  • Willingness to travel
  • Flexibility
