Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Panel Beater to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle body repair and restoration, demonstrating proficiency in using various tools and techniques to restore vehicles to their original condition. This role requires attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

  • Assess damage to vehicle panels and determine the necessary repairs.
  • Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to repair or replace damaged panels.
  • Read and interpret schematics to understand the structure of vehicles for effective repairs.
  • Perform heavy lifting as required when handling large components or materials.
  • Assemble parts and components accurately to ensure proper fit and function.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.
  • Conduct equipment repair and maintenance as necessary to ensure optimal performance of tools.

Skills

  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Experience in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
  • Ability to read schematics for accurate repairs.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Capability to assemble parts with precision and care.
  • Experience in equipment repair and maintenance is advantageous.
