Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting their independence. This position requires a nurturing attitude and the ability to work effectively with seniors and individuals with various care needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being.
  • Implement behaviour management techniques as needed to support clients with specific challenges.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
  • Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client health to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.

Experience

  • Previous experience in home care, nursing home, or care home settings is preferred but not essential.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous for effective communication within the healthcare team.
  • A genuine passion for senior care and a commitment to providing high-quality support are essential qualities for this role.
  • Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and excellent interpersonal skills when interacting with clients and their families.
