FEMALE SUPPORT WORKER/PERSONAL ASSISTANT – SOUTH WARRINGTON AREA

Are you awesome?

I am 18 years old and require a reliable, compassionate and energetic Personal Assistant to help me live my best life.

I am wheelchair reliant and have quadriplegic cerebral palsy as the result of a birth injury.

I require assistance with mobility, feeding and personal care. My family home is perfectly adapted to suit my needs.

My weeks include activities ranging from horse-riding, rebound therapy and beautiful country walks. I have a range of adapted indoor and outdoor equipment which support my physical and mental well-being.

My ideal candidate:

  • Competent, pragmatic and a great team player
  • Strong communication skills and experience of similar work preferred.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours essential.
  • Full driving licence essential.

Key responsibilities:

  • 2:2:1 and 1:2:1 support with all daily activities including hygiene cares
  • Administering medication and blended feeds via gastrostomy.

Role details:

  • Upto £16.00 per hour weekdays and upto £18.00 per hour weekends
  • 16-36 hours a week available (job share considered)
  • All training provided.
  • 5.6 weeks paid annual leave included (pro rata)

You will need to be a driver and hold a current full clean UK driving licence.

Due to the nature of the role and the services provided, this position is restricted to female applicants only. This is a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

Please be advised that, unfortunately, we are unable to provide VISA sponsorship and do not hire on a relocation basis. Applicants must be able to easily commute to the South Warrington area to be considered for this position.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £18.00 per hour
