Claimont Health are looking for looking for individuals who have an upbeat personality who are ready to work as a complex care Health Care Assistant for our client who lives in Halstead. We are looking for passionate and dedicated professionals to join our team.

Our client presents with chronic respiratory illnesses. Carers are required to assist with:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care to our client who has history of autonomic dysreflexia.
  • Be proactive with managing the clients needs
  • Ability to communicate clearly & effectively through verbal & written means.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, along with empathy
  • Maintain clear and accurate care observation records
  • Bowel care
  • Catheter (emptying)
  • General personal care
  • Moving and handling (wheelchair user)
  • Meds management)
  • Light household duties

Shift times are:

  • Morning routine 08.00 10:30 (2.5hrs) (Monday to Sunday)

Requirements:

    • DBS
    • National insurance number
    • Right to work in UK
    • Previous experience is essential
    • Health and social care relevant training
    • Must be able to drive and have access to their own car to commute to and from the service
