We’re looking for an Administration Assistant to join our friendly, vibrant, and supportive Antisocial Behaviour (ASB) team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a service that makes a real difference to the lives of Crawley residents.

Whether you’re an experienced administrator or someone enthusiastic and passionate about helping others, we’d love to hear from you. We’ll provide full training and ongoing support to help you succeed in this role.

Why join us?

  • flexible working: a mix of home working and time in our office (minimum three days per week in the office once trained)
  • work in a team that values collaboration, empathy and customer care
  • no two days are the same—this is a busy, rewarding role where you’ll learn and grow.

What you’ll do:

  • provide essential front-end support to the ASB team
  • handle enquiries with empathy and professionalism, risk assess and signpost where needed
  • manage email inboxes, phone lines and maintain accurate records
  • assist with preparing legal documents and supporting caseworkers

What we’re looking for:

  • excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • a positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to learn

If you’re ready to make a difference every day and join a team that truly cares, apply now and help us create safer, stronger communities in Crawley.

Crawley is a great place to work, with a thriving business district and excellent transport connections including nearby Gatwick Airport. We are based in our modern Town Hall which opened in 2023 and is located a short walk from the town centre and railway station.

We recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible, as we may close this advert before the stated closing date if enough applications are received.

Additional information

Working hours (to cover customer core hours) will be Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm and Friday 9am to 4pm.

We offer a generous employee benefits package, with a range of discounts, benefits and wellbeing incentives to suit everyone.
