Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality meals and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen environment. The successful candidate will assist with meal preparation, food safety, and serving duties, ensuring smooth kitchen operations and exceptional service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with meal preparation and food assembly in accordance with established recipes and standards
  • Support the cooking process by preparing ingredients and basic dishes under supervision
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing utensils, equipment, and work surfaces
  • Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to at all times
  • Help with serving food to customers or guests in a courteous and professional manner
  • Restock supplies and organise storage areas to ensure efficient workflow
  • Support the catering team during events or busy service periods as required
  • Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in catering, restaurant work, or food preparation is desirable but not essential
  • Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen safety procedures
