Job Summary
We are seeking a Bank Kitchen Assistant to join one of our clients. The successful candidate will assist with meal preparation, food safety, and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing their culinary skills within a professional setting. Prior experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation and meal assembly in accordance with established recipes and standards
  • Support the culinary team in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of kitchen areas
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
  • Help with the storage and rotation of ingredients to minimise waste
  • Assist in serving meals to customers or staff as required
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any maintenance issues promptly
  • Support the team during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations

Skills

  • Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable
  • Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety standards
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Willingness to learn new culinary techniques and procedures
