Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen staff by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. This position is perfect for individuals with a passion for cooking and a desire to learn more about the culinary arts in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks as directed by the head chef or kitchen manager.
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
  • Support catering operations by preparing ingredients and assisting with serving during events.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene at all times.
  • Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting any shortages to the kitchen manager.
