Full job description

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our small, dedicated team at Rake, near Petersfield, Liss and Liphook. If you enjoy customer interaction and have a passion for food and hospitality, this role is perfect for you!

Position: Food and beverage assistant
Location: Rake Blue Diamond Garden Centre / The Gatehouse Restaurant, near Petersfield, Liss, and Liphook
Hours: 20 hours + (Weekdays + every other weekend availability is essential)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly welcoming customers and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Taking orders, serving, and preparing food and beverages.
  • Providing efficient table service to our guests.
  • Handling cash and managing transactions accurately.
  • Performing general cleaning to maintain a tidy and hygienic work environment.
  • Work flexibly within our small team, helping in the kitchen when required, just as the kitchen team supports front of house.
