About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chef Manager to lead our kitchen operations and deliver outstanding culinary experiences. The successful candidate will oversee menu planning, food preparation, staff management, and ensure the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth service.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team.
  • Plan and design menus that balance creativity, quality, and cost.
  • Monitor inventory, control costs, and manage supplier relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
  • Maintain excellent communication with front-of-house and management teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement in food presentation and service quality.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef Manager, Head Chef, or similar role.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of culinary trends, food safety, and cost control.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Relevant culinary qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, Diploma, or equivalent).
  • Food Safety Level 3 (or higher) certification preferred.
