Job Summary
We are seeking a young enthusiastic chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong commitment to food safety and quality. As a chef de partie you will play an essential role in meal preparation and food preparation, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of excellence. You will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, collaborating with fellow kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen area
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organised workstation throughout the shift
  • Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols

Experience

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals
