Are you an HGV Class 2 Driver looking for more than just another driving job?

Nu-Phalt Group is seeking motivated Class 2 Drivers to join our expanding JetPatcher operations in Cumbria. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a specialist highways team carrying out essential road repairs that keep the UK's road network safe and operational.

The Role

You will initially be responsible for driving and supporting the operation of our specialist JetPatcher road maintenance vehicles as part of a 3–5 person team delivering carriageway and pothole repairs across the region.

No previous JetPatcher experience is required as full training will be provided.

Duties Include:

  • Driving specialist Class 2 road maintenance vehicles
  • Supporting carriageway and pothole repair works
  • Daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
  • Assisting with traffic management operations
  • Working closely with team members and supervisors
  • Representing the company professionally on client sites

Career Progression

Unlike many driving roles, this position offers genuine progression opportunities.

For candidates who demonstrate the right attitude, commitment and aptitude, there is the opportunity to progress into a Lead Operative / Machine Operator position, taking responsibility for the operation of our specialist JetPatcher equipment and leading repair works on site.
