Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Office Cleaner to maintain a clean and hygienic environment within our premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all designated areas are kept tidy, sanitary, and welcoming for staff and visitors alike. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services. The position is paid and suitable for those seeking reliable employment in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of office spaces, corridors, and communal areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and break areas, ensuring supplies are replenished as needed.
  • Empty waste bins and dispose of waste in accordance with environmental policies.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and other surfaces to maintain clarity and appearance.
  • Ensure cleaning equipment is used safely and stored properly after use.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the appropriate personnel.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents or contamination during cleaning activities.

Experience

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail are essential to ensure thorough cleaning routines are completed efficiently. This role offers a vital contribution to maintaining a professional environment that promotes health, safety, and comfort for all building users.

Working hours

Position 1: 8am to 5pm

Position 2: 2pm to 6pm

Pay

£12.21 per hour (weekly pay)
