Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for clients and staff alike. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Previous experience in cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between sites. This position offers paid employment from the outset.

Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures
  • Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products safely and efficiently
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in line with health and safety regulations
  • Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and cleaning materials as needed
  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
  • Follow scheduled routines and adapt to additional tasks as required by clients or supervisors
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure service satisfaction
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times during working hours

Qualifications

  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Previous experience in cleaning or customer service roles is desirable but not mandatory
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Valid driving licence is advantageous for travelling between sites
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
