Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within various residential or commercial premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in delivering high standards of hygiene and customer satisfaction. Prior experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning environments is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The position is paid and suitable for those seeking full-time or part-time employment.

Duties

  • Clean and sanitise all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces
  • Change bed linens and organise rooms to meet established standards
  • Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust surfaces thoroughly
  • Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials as needed
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Occasionally assist with specialised cleaning tasks such as upholstery or window cleaning
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest or client requests courteously and efficiently

Skills

  • Previous experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning is advantageous
  • Basic cooking skills are a plus for roles involving hospitality services
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
