Kitchen Porter for The Old Deanery Restaurant With Rooms, Ripon
£12.21 p/h* + service charge + tips for those aged 21 or older
(*£10 p/h for those aged 20 and under)

The Old Deanery in Ripon is one of Yorkshire’s newest and most exciting dining experiences, having re-branded as a “restaurant with rooms” with award winning chef, Adam Jackson since November 2023, winning 3 AA Rosettes in September 2024, and becoming Michelin Recommended in January 2025.

We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to work roughly 12 hours each week, on Thursday and Friday evenings, from 5pm until finish, which will be around 11pm.

Responsibilities of the role will include; washing dishes, polishing cutlery, cleaning the kitchen, and ensuring a hygienic work environment. Additionally, you may be asked to help with basic food preparation activities, helping put away deliveries, and keeping the bin area tidy.

Please note that there is no staff parking on site.

You will be eligible to earn a share of tips and service charge as an added extra on top of your wage.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 15 per week

Work Location: In person
