Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various residential and commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have previous domestic cleaning and/or janitorial experience and a keen eye for detail, ensuring environments are safe, tidy, and welcoming. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy creating clean, organised spaces.

Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces
  • Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other communal areas to ensure compliance with health standards
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
  • Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
  • Use specialised cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
  • Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to maintain a secure working environment

Skills

  • Ability to travel freely across London
  • Experience in Airbnb / short-let cleaning and domestic cleaning (References from previous employer or clients are a bonus)
  • At least basic English (spoken and understood)
  • Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
  • Physical stamina to perform manual cleaning duties throughout the shift
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
