Full job description

Mabelle O’Rama is an independent London-based fragrance and olfactive art studio. We are looking for a highly organised, proactive Operations & Business Development Manager to support the day-to-day running of the studio while helping grow our retail and client base.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on studio work and relationship-building within a creative business.

The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the studio, supporting production and fulfilment, and helping develop relationships with retailers, clients, and partners. This is a hand-on role with room to shape the job based on your experience and grow. with the brand.

Key Responsibilities

Studio & Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day studio operations and production
  • Fill and label bottles, prepare and package products
  • Pack and dispatch orders
  • Manage inventory and stock updates
  • Liaise with suppliers and manage orders of materials
  • Maintain studio organisation and processes

Business Development & Client Support

  • Reach out to retailers, stockists, and clients
  • Support wholesale enquiries and follow-ups
  • Assist with event planning, preparation, and on-the-day support
  • Help coordinate brand activations, pop-ups, and workshops

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Highly organised and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working hands-on in a studio environment
  • Confident communicator (email, phone, in person)
  • Proactive, reliable, and solution-focused
  • Comfortable working in a small, growing business

Desirable

  • Experience in operations, production, or supply chain
  • Experience in business development or wholesale
  • Background in beauty, fragrance, fashion, or creative industries

No fragrance or production experience required — training will be provided.

Location & Hours

  • London (studio-based)
  • Part-time (2–3 days per week) with room to become full time
