Position:

Due to exciting team expansion, we are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager who can ensure we meet our business growth objectives for our leading UK pharmacy product – RxWeb. With skills in proactive sales, relationship building, and client nurturing, we are looking for a self-starter who can actively find and develop new sales opportunities within our target pharmacy market, and drive excitement and awareness around our new features and offerings.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Engaging in outreach to new and existing accounts for lead generation.
  • Generating sales through new business and existing business.
  • Maintaining and growing existing relationships.
  • Account management
  • Identifying growth and upgrade opportunities within the existing customer base.
  • Attending sales meetings/demonstrations/presentations with potential and existing customers.
  • Supporting inbound and outbound sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Work with Marketing support on sales campaigns and follow up opportunities.
  • Compiling and maintaining customer databases.
  • Understanding of competitor products.
  • Ongoing awareness of industry, market and product knowledge
  • Attending any industry events as needed.
  • Liaising with development, accounts, marketing, technical and customer support for new business and existing business Installations
  • Liaising with other departments to resolve customer issues.
  • Sales forecasting
  • Generate quotations and any accompanying documentation for existing and prospective customers.
  • Managing the sales cycle from lead generation to close.
  • Generating orders.
  • Submitting software modification requests on behalf of customers.
  • Promoting the company’s profile.
  • Providing full visibility into activities.
  • Assisting in any other related area.


Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualification, skills, knowledge, and attributes:


  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Proven successful track record in exceeding revenue and profitability goals
  • Ability to acquire new customers and grow business.
  • Excellent customer facing/service skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Direct experience in exceling in a sales team that is results orientated.
  • Ability to travel worldwide if required.
  • Relevant university degree.
  • Healthcare IT industry experience advantageous.
  • Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
