About us

We are a well-established medico-legal company providing expert psychological assessments and therapy services for clients involved in legal claims. We work closely with personal injury lawyers, insurers, and case managers to ensure clients receive appropriate, trauma-informed care.

Job Summary

We are currently looking for a qualified and accredited CBT Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves working with adult clients who have experienced psychological trauma, often related to accidents or personal injury cases.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver CBT therapy to clients referred through the medico-legal process.
  • Conduct initial assessments to understand clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

Experience

  • Accredited CBT practitioner (BABCP or equivalent)
  • Registration with a professional body (HCPC, BACP, BABCP, UKCP).
  • Strong report writing and communication skills.
  • Experience with PTSD, complex trauma and personal injury cases.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Understanding of the medico-legal context (preferred, but not essential).
