1st class care are a great company to work for. The pay is excellent and the work is so rewarding and varied. There has been a change om the office staff and I now find the management and coordinators so easy to approach if I have any issues with my rota or anything else. They are very supportive and lovely to speak to. There is always overtime available if I want it and the clients I have are amazing to work with. As long as you turn up to work and do your job you will get on great here. I had never done care before but now cant see myself doing anything else.

Worst job I’ve ever had

They over work you, don’t care about your personal life, don’t care about the hours you do, don’t give you breaks during the day. Absolutely awful company. Worked in care 10 years and never came across a worse company than this one. Would highly recommend picking ANY other company than this one.

Good work place

I enjoyed working with this company, the service users were nice and the people I worked with were really good as well.It was stressful at some points but when things were cleared with the office it died down a bit.

A good experience in care

I had an overall satisfactory experience with 1st Class Care. The management were very thoughtful and understanding about childcare and illness. I did feel like I could’ve done with more field based training as this job is not for the faint hearted and some clients needs are extremely complex, however the workers were lovely. The pay and hours were very good for me.

Not bad too work for

Not bad too work for, like most care jobs it can be stressful but the pay is good. The manager is helpful and easy to contact when needed. Designated run and good shift pattern.

I enjoy working here shifts are long but pay is good. Clients are lovely. Overtime rate is good woth the bonuses to. Gaurented contract with hours and coordinators are supportive.

Profesional and busy

I started here and left but came back having working in care for years. And very happy in a company for years. Relieved to have gound a company with the right values and good atmospbere.

Totally avoid company

Worked for this company for a while ye if you did what you were told you were fine. But the minute you dare say or don't do extra they turn on you. They just throw calls on you left right and centre. They put 20hrs and more on you in a day and don't care about a good caring service just as long as you go to the clients home. And it looks like they have had there call. They don't care about you or the client. As long as they call cram and get paid. Very over worked. And wages always wrong petrol all ways wrong. Pay well but no respect for the staff.

Great job satisfaction

My first job in care and theres never a dull day working in home care. That is where you get job statisfaction form helping the elderly. Am still working here. My cooridnator is great and so nice to speak to.

Do not join

I would not recommend to join this company. I love being a carer but this company is so unorganised and unprofessional and treat their staff very unfair especially if there is issue, they will just disregard it. When you are working you will be messed about and most of the time you are doing the job of the office rather than what you as a carer has been employed for.

Very flexible, not a bad job if you have any savvy. Good money guaranteed and company willing to offer fair chances to climb the ladder pretty quickly. Helps if you are friendly and eager to learn.

Fast paced working

Fast paced working environment that I enjoy. Staff very professional and helpful. Everyday is different and full of new challenges. Always learning more about the individuals needs and hoping to do more training. Not like other care companies. Very happy with my position and would recommend to anyone

Staff were always helpful and patients were lovely. Enjoyed my time working here. I was made to feeel very welcomed and nothing was too much bother. Genuienly care about there employees.

Tough but Fulfilling

I am new to care and the job can be stressful but if very rewarding I have met some of the loveliest people and learned a great deal to better myself as a person. They have great support and training options and also have some terrific staff benefits.

Office staff only care about getting the workload off them

I’ve worked there for nearly a year and to start with everything was going well. Then u start to notice things like when your in your days off they constantly call and try get you to work making you feel guilty about resting. They only pay half the amount they should be paying of your petrol money. If you complain they make things harder than the should be All in all 1st class care is a care company that don’t care. Weird that eh

Amazing clients

Been working here part time for just under a year. You get to meet and care for some amazing clients.Training was also quite good and informative.Higehr hourly rate compared to other providers my area.

Temporary Work

I worked here on a temporary contract during the pandemic and have to say I have loved every minute of being there. The staff are wonderful and helpful they really helped me settle in, especially as I have not been trained in adult care before this. I would recommend 1st Class Care to anyone as it’s been great working with a great team. Management extremely helpful. All clients are amazing they make you smile each day caring for them. No pay for walking some staff can be rude

You work from 7 till 9 only bing paid for hours with clients no pay for walking 9.30 and hr for alloa workers only get subtaside for petrol thats all. Office staff can be a but rude but all around no bad place to work if ur willing to be paid for only being with clients
