Poor communication

Lack of communication, poor managementStaff have 30 minutes per day docked from hours worked as they are home based, this wasn't mentioned at interviews, drivers have to wash vehicles on thier own time

Good part time job suit semi retired

Good job doing school run twice a day must be able to get along with kids and parent's but overall a good job using brand new cars don't expect a lot of hours minimum can be 12.5 hours and max 25 hours

Can be good and could be so much better

Good pay when there is work but more often than not there is no work, no direct management above so the company just plodding along and not trying to drum up new business and get new work in for the drivers left.

Flexible hours

Shame they took away 10 hours per week without consultation and don’t seem to care or value staff. The vehicle is in poor condition, very old and tatty.

No management support, no phone support, no back up support

Reality of job versus what they say on website is vast, essential training not given, first aid tracing not given and expected to use personal mobile phone breaking GDPR rules, office not available for support when the travel is taking place. Vehicle is NOT for private use but you are expected to keep at your property, then they deduct travelling time 15 mins per journey!

Humbling and super contract hours

This is my third week as a Driver with 24/7and can not fault the company at all.The hours are brilliant to fit in with my lifestyleThe staff are always accomadating helpful and also the school staff always training available Beautiful vehicle to drive. The family I drive for are very caring.No faults at all just wish I had worked for 24/7 sooner.

Management

Just started working for the company in sept, can't fault at all. They are soon to get back in contact if any issues on the day. Got a brand new car with it with all cost not coming out of my own pocket.

Great overall experience

Having been with the company for coming up on 3 months now, based in head office I am very much enjoying both the pacing of the job as well as the collaborative nature both between my own team and others around the office.

Fits around my life

This company gives an opportunity to work the hours that suit you, they are fair and understanding and the children are lovely to work with, they get very used to their regular driver which makes your day a bit more fun and interesting, it’s an ideal position for semi retirement, drivers come from all walks of life and we are a close knit group who help each other out when necessary.

Fast Paced, Excellent Support from Head Office

I've worked for 24 x 7 Lancashire for 4 weeks now and I love the team. Management fully supportive with any issues. Fast-paced environment with so much to do and suits me.

I feel how the business is run is perfect for the type of passengers I transport -I was given a brand new car-no-one had used it until it was given to meI am always supported if I have any concerns around my route or need reassurance with my passengers I would recommend working here

Uncaring and unsupportive

You’re not respectedThey only care about the money you can make them You’re in a year contract or you have to pay money backThey lie to get what they want whether it be to staff or parents You drive extra hours which you’re not paid forThey expect blood out of a stone but in return won’t do things for youYou’re responsible for cleaning of the car but not given any money/materials towards it. You’re not paid anymore than the p.a for driving though it can be more demanding

Very well organised, all stuff are very friendly and work around u as much as u try work around them. The boss is very understanding and all very helpful if u need anything always a fast response.

Flexibility and Independence.

I work around 30 hours per week and the job gives me the ability to have time off in the day. My manager is very good, he leaves me alone to do the job. but is available should there be problems. I do the same run every day, which might not suit all but is OK for me. The negatives are the pay which is poor given the level of responsibility and the battle to get a decent vehicle, the fleet department at Head Office are very unhelpful and will send you any old rubbish, I have had vehicles with no MOT, bald tyres, wheelchair ramps that don't work etc. Eventually I got a decent vehicle but you have to push hard for it. The job suits me just fine but might not be so for everyone.

just be honest with staff and stop changing routes as special needs children need stability

we work to our ability’s then ever September new term most people get new routes so all our hard work from the year before wasted these children and parents gain our trust which means more to us than what it seem to mean to you

Sometimes fun sometimes hard

Every day is different as working with children with special needs transporting them to school I am a former chef and find this job more rewarding ideal if you only need to work a few hours a week

Just Avoid.

One of the worst out there, in my opinion only care about money. Any extra driving time I was told " we expect our employee's to absorb this time " Best thing I did was leave. Asked for masks and hand sanitizer during covid none came.Expext vehicle to be cleaned but don't supply any materials. There are much better firms out there in my opinion.

Top team

Warwickshire branch second to none. Manager is accommodating, professional and friendly. Always on hand and able to sort any problems. It’s a real pleasure working for him.The children are great but can be demanding due to their needs, but that’s what this job is all about , the welfare and well being of those youngsters who are less fortunate.
