A&B Engineering is a privately owned company based in Liverpool and provides design and installation of mechanical, electrical and plumbing services throughout the northwest. The company started life back in the 1950’s and has developed over recent years to be one of the largest in its sector and this year the turnover is circa £50 Million. We are based in the premises that we own in Derby Lane, Old Swan, Liverpool and we have been here for nearly 50 Years, buying up adjacent property as the business grew from strength to strength. It is owned by the shareholders who are hands on within and who have been long standing employee’s for many years and fortunate for the succession of the company as Directors retire and new blood is introduced. There are currently 200 people within the business, all full time and all Plumbers, Fitters and Electricians are directly employed, many of whom have been with the company for many many years. The company has, and continues to recruit and train a high number of Apprentices in all disciplines both at craft and technical levels. Many of the current Directors and senior management both site and office based started their working life as A&B Apprentices and the company is extremely proud of its ethos in this respect. It has taken many years, considerable investment and considerable hard work from lots of people, past and present, to bring the company to where it is now in terms of its client portfolio, quality reputation, health and safety, expertise and respect it has throughout our industry, for what it strives for and what is has achieved to date.Show less
