Absolutely terrible organisation
Team Leader (Former Employee) - Carlton site - 25 January 2022
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedIt is the worse place to work and would reccomend not wasting your time.there is no communication at all between people and if you have a problem they rather brush it under the carpet so to speak. .
Pros
Have days of when you want no joke
Cons
Manual labour over worked

Need to brush up on employment legislation....
Warehouse Operative (Former Employee) - Barnsley, South Yorkshire - 26 August 2021
If you're desperate it's a job. They will employ you if your under 18 and are happy for you to work shifts before 6am and after 10pm which I understand appears to break employment legislation. The employees were often fighting/ threatening each other at work and many of them appeared to have substance abuse issues. You are paid according to age regardless of ability and productivity, so it becomes a race to the bottom. When they run out of work to do they send you home part way through a shift and don't pay for the rest of the day, so everyone goes really slow just in case. Can't believe they are managing to stay open! AVOID.
Pros
None
Cons
Terrible shift patterns

Stressfull and rubbish wages.
Packing Operative (Former Employee) - Goldthorpe - 3 July 2021
The job description is complete lies, all the company cares about is pure profit. They do not care about anyone except their selves.Quantity over quality should be their motto.People get sent home all the time because there is no work yet they still advertise jobs.Health and safety only applies when visitors are around, ppl have claimed because of accidents there, accidents that would have been avoided if health and safety existed there.minimum wage for a job where they treat you like a slave.you need to be desperate to work here. The office staff have no idea what they are doing, seen them singing karaoke when they should have been sorting wages.
Pros
None at all.
Cons
Everything.

Horrendous
Picker/Packer (Former Employee) - Rotherham - 18 March 2021
If you are looking to get into work quick that is the only thing this place is useful for! No interview process you just get took in a room to sign forms and will start immediately the next day or following week. They pay on age even though you all do the same duties. You are spoken to like rubbish unless you are pushing yourself and become overworked. Favouritism happens and if your face fits you will be allowed to do as you please if you are not one of those people you are just a number. There is no work life balance and your shift can be changed the same day you are working with very little notice and no option. Disgusting treatment and unfair place to work apart from a couple of the team leaders but even they are expected to treat staff like numbers and are equally overworked.
Pros
Fast employment
Cons
Long hours, bad treatment, underpaid and overworked
