On average, how many hours do you work a day at A Life Explored?
You should work 24 hour shifts, however, their sickness policy states that if you are on shift and an adult on the next shift phones in sick, you and your shift partner have to cover that shift leaving you working until 5pm the next day or you have to come back at 5pm and cover the sleepover. This policy can leave you on shift for days regardless if you have no childcare etc. Spouses employment has been affected because you are held at work and they have to find alternatives or not attend their own work in order to look after the children. No allowances if you are a single parent, you have to cover the shift.Asked 11 February 2020
