Nightmare
Hire Controller (Former Employee) - Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire - 17 March 2022
The manager at Newark depot is toxic and makes working uncomfortable and not at all enjoyable. Staff turn over is proof of how she makes people feel and try’s to create discourse between colleagues
Pros
Colleagues were brilliant

Area Sales (Former Employee) - London, Greater London - 11 February 2021
constantly changing priorities and direction terminate people and replace with friends and colleagues from previous companies no management as such - left alone with no direction and guidance build a sales portfolio and when customers are progressing they siphon off for others to look after unrewarding and unprofessional company new name but still old ethics

I loved my time at A-Plant
Hire desk manager (Former Employee) - Granton, City of Edinburgh - 8 October 2020
The management team can be approachable and listen to your concerns. I found my work life balance towards the end of my time at A-Plant horrendous. I miss my time there and wish I could go back.
Pros
Great people you work with
Cons
Long hours

poor management
Mechanical fitter (Former Employee) - bellshill - 16 February 2019
Working as a mechanical fitting in A Plant I found the management to be poor, often been managed by underqualified people such as joiners and cleaners. unable to understand the mechanical job role and failure to supply parts when needed.
the management in this organisation is poor and when pulled in for any failure of mechanical components they will ask HGV drivers for advice due to there connection / friendship with them, which yet still to this day leaves me puzzled. there bullying technique towards there staff is very atrocious and yet there HR department fail to investigate or act. having been giving the chance to attend a disciplinary meeting as a witness and see a fellow college being verbally assaulted with abusive language being used towards him and being unable to act leaves this organisation as the worsted one I have ever attended having worked over 2 years here it is safe to say this will not change. I hope this helps you understand a small part of this originations way of carrying things out.
Pros
you get left alone when at brake downs.
Cons
management is poor.
